Check the E-Mail header in Ms Outlook(10 & 07) & Outlook Express

The email header, containing details about the sender, route, receiver,date and time of sending or receiving the mail etc. Using the e-mail header one can identify the sender or his mail server's existence, either the mail is SPAM or not and other various issues.

   

Microsoft Outlook 2010

To view the e-mail header at first double click on the mail.     

  

    

Now click on File then select Info and after that click on Properties.    

    

    

 Properties box will appear. At the bottom of the box you will find the e-mail header.   

   

  

  

Microsoft Outlook 2007

To check the e-mail header for any individual mail, select the mail and click the Right click, a pop down window will appear then select Message Option.

  

  

 Massage Option window will appear. At  bottom of the window you will find a box named as Internet headers where you will find the header of that e-mail.

  

   

   

Outlook Express

  

To check the e-mail header for an e-mail select the e-mail and  Right click over it and select properties.

   

    

Now click on Details.

  

 You will find the header details as shown in the below figure.
