Creating DNS Record
Login to the Plesk Control Panel to Add DNS Record.
Click on Websites & Domains tab.
Click on DNS Settings link.
Click on Add Record link.
Select any type of Record from Record type drop down list as shown in the image. You can accordingly select different type of record values for different Record Types (NS, A, AAAA, CNAME, TXT, MX, PTR, SRV).
Below are the descriptions of above number sequence.1. Assign a value in Domain name input box. (Value in the step 1 will be changing depends on Record type.) 2. Assign an IP address for IP address * input box. (Value in the step 2 will be changing depends on Record type & step 1) 3. Click OK button for confirmation.
Below are the descriptions of above number sequence.1. A new DNS record has added but it has not yet written into DNS. 2. Click Update button to confirm writting into DNS.
You are done, your DNS record has been added.
Modifying DNS Record
You have already loged in or Login to the Plesk Control Panel to Modify DNS Record.
Select any DNS record for modifying the record from Host list.
Below are the descriptions of above number sequence.1. Depend on Record type these two fields (Domain name & IP address *) will be changing. 2. Click OK button for confirmation.
Below are the descriptions of above number sequence.1. The DNS record has modified but it has not yet written into DNS. 2. Click Update button for writting modified DNS record into DNS. You are done, your DNS record has been modified.
Deleting DNS Record
You have already loged in or Login to the Plesk Control Panel to Delete DNS Record.
Below are the descriptions of above number sequence.1. Click on select box to select a record to be deleted. 2. Click on Remove link to remove the DNS record.
Below are the descriptions of above number sequence.1. Click on Confirm remove select box to confirm the DNS record deletion. 2. Click OK button to confirm delete.
Below are the descriptions of above number sequence.1. Stripped DNS record ready to delete. 2. Click Update button to permanently delete the record from the DNS.
You are done, your DNS record has been deleted.
