Creating POP3 E-Mail account in Outlook 2010

To configure E-mail account in Microsoft Outlook 2010 please follow the below steps.

  

At first go on Microsoft Outlook from Start > Programs > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Outlook and click Next.

   

  

You can configure Outlook to connect Internet E-mail, or other E-mail server. So, to configure E-mail account in Outlook check Yes and click Next.

  

  

Now select the Manually configure server settings or additional server server types to configure and click Next.

   

 

Now select Internet E-mail and click Next.

   

  

Fill up this area as the instruction given below:

Instruction:   

  1. Write your name in the box e.g. test
  2. Put the E-mail address, e.g. test@diadem.co.in
  3. Select Account type POP3.
  4. Write Incoming mail server e.g. mail.diadem.co.in
  5. Write Outgoing mail server(SMTP) same as Incoming mail Server.
  6. Put User Name, i.e full e-mail address. e.g. test@diadem.co.in
  7. Write the password for the e-mail address.

Now check the Remember password option if you want to Outlook remember your password and click on More Settings.

   

 

After that click on the Outgoing Server tab and check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and click OK.

    

  

Click Finish to complete the Outlook E-mail client setup.

   

  

Microsoft Outlook e-mail client setup has completed you can access mailbox using the same.
