Mail Error 554:IP Blocked in Anti-abuse site

"The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'user@abc.com' on 27/10/2009 3:44 PM
554 Blocked - see http://cbl.abuseat.org/lookup.cgi?ip=192.168.10.10"

 

Whenever we get the above error  it means that the mentioned IP has been blocked by cbl.abuseseat.org.

To remove the IP from their blacklist we perform the following steps

 

First Click on the URL http://cbl.abuseat.org/lookup.cgi?ip=192.168.10.10 provided with the error message.

To remove your IP click on the Request De-listing option

  

 

 

You will be redirected to this page.

  

 

 Scroll down and tick "I have read above explanation" and click on 'Remove' to request removal

 

 

  

  

 This screen means that the removal process has started and will take a couple of hours for the IP to be released.

    

 

    

You can also lookup the status of your IP from the CBL Lookup Utility.Enter your IP and click on ''Lookup'.
