Password protected web directory

Login to the Plesk Control Panel to create Password Protected Web Directory.

Click on Websites & Domains tab.

Click on Show Advanced Operations link to explore more menus.

Click on Password-protected Directories link.

Click on Add Protected Directory link.

Below are the descriptions of above number sequence.

1. Write any directory name on Directory name * input box.

2. Click on any of two Directory location select box.

3. Write any significant name of your protected directory in Title of the protected area input box.

4. Click OK to confirm all the above settings.

Below are the descriptions of above number sequence.

1. Check your protected directory has created,

2. Click on the just created new directory.

Click on Add New User Link.

Below are the descriptions of above number sequence.

1. Assign a user to access the protected directory on Username * input box.

2. Assign a password for the user in New Password * input box.

3. Retype the same password as step 1 in Confirm password input box.

4. Click OK button to confirm.

You are done, your password protected web directory has been created.
