To configure POP3 E-mail account in the Mozilla Thunderbird go to Tools --> Accounts Settings.

Noe Select Add Account, then Email Account and click Next.

Enter your email information:

Your Name: your name
Email Address: mailuser@yourdomainname.xyz

Click on the Next to Proceed.

Here you will have to specify the incoming (POP3) and Outgoing (SMTP) mail server. This should be by default mail.<your_domain_name> (e.g the domain name is diadem.co.in. so the mail server is mail.diadem.com).

Note: The incoming mail server should be by default POP3.

Click on the Next to Proceed.

Now provide the Mail user name. (e.g. if your mail ID abc@domain.com then your mail user name is abc)

Click on the Next to Proceed.

Provide the Account Name (This can be anything which you can identify).

Click on the Next to Proceed.

Verify your mail account settings e.g. mail ID, incoming/outgoing Server address and click on Finish to complete the process.
